Michael,

Hardly a definitive answer, but have you tried playing an *E-flat* for that
note? It seems to fit the sequence quite well -- much better, in fact, than
either the D-natural or the D-flat. Try it -- you just may like it! (and if
you don't, you didn't hear it from me! ;))
