I agree with this to a certain extent. If the person makes his whole li
ving
on accompaning and/or lessons, than they can't get away with going for cheep.
If it
is between doing it for the love of it and living in a cardboard box or
charging and
having some people upset, I'm going for the money. In the instance that the
accompanist is doing the stuff on the side, than yes, it is criminal to charge
some
of the rates some do. I know compition wagers in this too, but I wont get into
that.
