Hi Nathan........your right! Fiddler is a great clarinet show. I played the
>original on B'way for almost 8 years. The original book was clarinet, Eb
clarinetand flute. The rental part has been changed to straight clarinet.
There is a lot of solo stuff.....esp. the wedding scenes and the dream
sequence. April...if you do get to play the show....try to get a copy of
the cd version of the recording. It has several tracks that were left off
the original lp(space
>problem) including the the bottle dance. BTW....the ornamentation is not
included in rental version so if you want to stay close to the original,
listening to the cd is important. Let me know if I can help with the
