Neil-
I played in the pit for Hello Dolly this past summer. There is not a
straight clarinet book. WW1 has Flute, picc & clarinet (mosty flute) WW2
has clarinet and alto sax (mostly first clarinet parts) and WW3 is clarinet
and tenor sax.

I played the WW2 book. I really enjoyed the show. I liked the music. It
really was not difficult. The hardest part was getting my alto playing up to
par. (I haven't played alto since sax minor class at Ithaca College)

I really enjoyed it- I don't know about the violin parts- the clarinet and
alto sax was a lot of fun.
