Dear David,
I also have one pitched in A, serial no. 747C1. Below the Buffet logo
is stamped C. Fischer NY, and below that LP and an A. Mine also has a
left hand A-flat/E-flat, and an articulated G-sharp/C-sharp key, with an
additional G-sharp/Csharp operated by the right hand on the lower joint.
The key is just like the alternate B/F-sharp key, except it lies
between the first and second tone holes of the lower joint. I would be
curious to know if your instrument(s) have these add'l keys.
