Thanks for sharing your experience. I suspect that you have described the
ideal way to purchase a new clarinet. Visit the factory, have them hand
pick about 20 instruments that meet your needs, then pick one of
these! Interesting that the Infinite is made for the American market.
I wonder what characteristics make it thus suited? In my own experience
I found it the easiest to blow throughout the range, especially in the
altissimo. Perhaps in a few years when my embouchure is more developed
ease of blow will not be as critical and I can go for a particular
tone, moving up to an Opus (or Prestige!).
