How about "Magic Fire" (about 1955) with Yvonne de Carlo as Minna
Wagner, and Valentina Cortesa (hubba hubba) as Matilde von Wesendonck.
This film played in Germany as "Richard Wagner und die Frauen".
Most memorable line (Franz Liszt in disgust to Wagner's wearing a
beret), "Du machst ein masquerade mit dein Rembrandt Hut". The film
was so bad I enjoyed it very much. Ron
