You might consider "A Short Lecture on the Clarinet for Clarinet
in Bb and Speaker (which can be the same person)" by William Bolcom (1976).
This amusing and informative presentation on the history and capabilities
of the clarinet is distributed by Edward B. Marks Music Corp (New York).

There is also a commercial tape on the lecture by John Mohler,
which is distributed by Roncorp (New Jersey).
