Hi David,

As terrific as the Ran pieces are, they may not be what your audience is
"looking" (listening?) for...You might take a look at a couple of tunes by
Paul Ben-Haim: one is his "Three Songs Without Words" (clar. and piano),
the other being his "Pastorale Variee" (also clar. and piano). Both are
published by Israeli Music Publications Ltd. and should be easily found at
Woodwing Service or Luyben.
