I didn't save the message requesting information on recordings of the high
clarinets, so I can't respond directly to the author of that request. I know
of one currently available recording that should fit the description, even
though not specifically asked of the pitches asked for. This CD is of
"Wiener Schrammelmusik" which is scored for two violins, clarinet in G and
bass guitar, a 13-string, 2-necked instrument. It is titled, "Music From Old
Vienna", and is on the NAXOS label, number 8.550228. These retail for all of
$5.99.

The G clarinet is listed in some books, including Rendall, but without much
information. I've seen a picture of one in a German book on instruments and
it is indicated as being 37 cm long, or about 14-1/2 inches. The music
played is Viennese folk music of the 2nd half of the 19th century. It sounds
like the folk equivalent of the Strauss family.

The album includes a color photo of the performers and the clarinet is
clearly smaller than an Eb. There isn't enough detail to be certain, but it
appears to be more simple than a Boehm or Oehler. I have a simple system
high Ab that measures essentially the same length as the 37 cm mentioned
above.
