Using blackwood or grenidilla dust with glue (normally a cyanoacrylate) to
fill and disguise all sorts of imperfections and damages to wood products is
really nothing new. The technique has been around for at least 10 or more
years and everyone I know in the repair business uses it including most
violin and guitar repairpersons. It is afar superior way to repair damaged
wood than shellac and french polishing!!
