I have seen one crack repair job that was so well done you couldn't
tell anything ever happened also. It is amazing what some people do. This
guy told me that he uses the blackwood dust that comes off in the pinning
process glues it someway over top of the repaired area. He buffs it slightly
and BINGO almost as good as new. The only indication anything was done
is that it is slightly shinyer (is that a word) than the rest of the clarinet.
