John,
The "silver strips" would be ideal for a silver sax (I had one and
used them ,they were great and work well on flutes also. They are available
at most hardware stores, cost $5 for a few strips (chemically treated to
prevent tarnish).

strips? Do they really prevent tarnish from
building up while in the case?
My daughter has a silver alto sax.
Would silver strips in the case help
prevent tarnish on a sax?
Where would I get these?
