Dear Jennifer,

The squeak is likely the result of excessive embouchure pressure. Take
note of whether it is 6th higher than the original clarion register
tone, or if it is a 12th higher than the chalumeau or fundamental
register note. I suspect the latter. Try relaxing the embouchure for
the lower note. hope it works. Good luck.
