The Holliger recorded work and the one played on c clarinet is not the
Introcution, Theme and Variations composed for c clarinet and orchestra.
That last work was and is a clarinet compoistion--recorded by de Peyer,
Stoltzman and others (?). It was for c clarinet and orchestra--the only
versions that I know of recorded and played are with the orchestral (or)
band acc (OUP) down a major second. I am not sure if anyone has recorded
it on c clarinet and in the original key. I believe the variations work
referred to earlier is an original oboe work which works nicely on the
C clarinet.
