I think you are referring to the Tanglewood Music Center Orchestra (TMC),
which is an all fellowship orchestra made up of musicians up to age 30 (and
as young as 18) from around the world. It is a student (albeit advanced
student) orchestra that plays one concert per week, plus chamber music, and
gets coached by BSO players, and conducted by many of the same conductors
that do the BSO.

The "festival" orchestra at Tanglewood is, of course, the Boston Symphony
Orchestra (BSO).

There is also another orchestra at Tanglewood in the summer. It is called
the Boston University Tanglewood Institute Orchestra (BUTI), and it is made
up of high school students and younger.
