A quick clarification to my earlier postings:

I just realized that the Hz values for low frequencies mentioned in that
article are given as double what they should be. That's because the
French (who don't say "Hertz" as a rule) think of one upward and one
downward vibration as two beats, whereas we think of it as one complete
vibration.

Thus 38 French vibrations @-----.
