David Neithamer points out that my computer went bananas in mid thought.
I just didn't want anyone to think that I strangled in the middle of
a dangling participle.

My note should have ended with the question:

Didn't anyone hear that the young man's girlfriend was playing a half
tone out of tune? To which he replied, "Well, no one said anything about it!"

Can you imagine playing a half tone out of tune for all of high school and
no one noticing it?
