Thank you all so much for your comments. Although the horn really
has no value as a performing instrument (the wood looks as if it spent most
of its life in the Arizona desert!), it will make a great teaching tool
when speaking of pitch standardization. I'm glad to have all these people
at my fingertips, so to speak. That, to me, is the real joy of this list!
