I have installed two original compositions by Rick Sowash on
my anonymous ftp subdirectory "music". They are Mac based
and I used one of our lab machines to make the transfer>
One of the two is a part of his Clarinet-Cello composition.
All my knowledge of music programs is connected to PC based
software, so I don't know if they are readable. If any of
you folks who have Macs would like to take a stab at them
they are C.CXA;1 and WILD1.;1 A little information about
Rick is given in the text file SOWASH.README;1

Here are the commands once again

ftp dhvx20.csudh.edu
Login as anonymous, give your e-mail address as a password
At the ftp> prompt, type

cd music (I think that cd music also works), in order to
change to the [music] subdirectory.

Then type dir to get a listing of the files in [music]

Then, type binary (maybe set binary, I can't remember),
then

get

You will be prompted for a filename and the name of the file on
your system to which you wish to write the incoming file.

I'd be most grateful if those who try would drop me a line to
tell me of their experiences. Thanks.
