Hi Oliver,

Just wanted to let you know that I down loaded your file k411.mid
successfully. What I have at the moment is just the Cakewalk Pro 3.0
demo, no soundcard (just sold the old one, waiting for new one).

Cakewalk can read your file. What I get are 5 staffs of music labelled
Clarinet. Nothing else is initialized: the patches are set to Accoustic
Grand Piano, no variable tempo, volume, controllers. When I hit the play
button, the program seems to play through the notes.

Well, good start. The question is, whether you did include extra data
which was lost or not :) I don't have your original post: with what
program did you produce k411.mid?

We need a cross-compatibility list, and yes, sorry, perhaps I should keep
such midi posts private.
