These Beau Hunks that Richard Faria mentions in his post are a Dutch group of
professional players which got together to record several of the themes used in
the Laurel and Hardy films.
This music was lost, so they decided to record all music pieces from the films
they could find, cut the little pieces of music out and paste the original
themes back together. After that they wrote down what they heard and recorded
the tunes. There are two CD's with this Laurel and Hardy music from them. I can
look some details up when you need them, because I have one of these CD's at
home.
