Steve says that he like Neidich's recording of the Mozart concerto.

I do not challenge his conclusion in the least. Steve is permitted
to feel any way he wishes about anyone's performance, but I will
challenge Steve to state what it was about Neidich performance that
he found to his liking.

Furthermore, this is not a setup. I am not asking Steve for this
information in order to contradict him, but to reestablish a
discussion of two years past about how the Mozart concerto should
be played. However, unless Steve touches on the issues that I
think would benefit by a discussion, I'll leave it alone.

So, Steve. Be precise. Be specific. What is it that Neidich
did that you found enjoyable? But please, no cliches. "He played
nicely" is insufficiently precise.

Of course, this is not an easy question. It is difficult to state
precisely what it was that caused you to enjoy a particular
performance. Sometimes it is very ephemeral. But try. It will
be good for your soul.
