Hello everyone,

I received my copy of the UW Madison, Wisconsin Union Theater concert
schedule this week, I thought some of you who live nearby might be
interested.

On Wednesday, October 11, the scheduled concert is: The American
Connection, Richard Stoltzman and Lukas Foss, piano.

The brochure lists the following program:

Piano Blues Aaron Copland
In the Morning,
Serenity Charles Ives
New York Counterpoint Steve Reich
Composer's Holiday,
Fantasy Rondo Lukas Foss
selection from Sonata
for Clarinet and Piano Paul Hindemith

Clarinet & Piano Leonard Berstein

The concert is at 8:00 PM, at the Wisconsin Union Theater, located in
the Memorial Union on the University campus, tickets are $22. Tickets
are available through the Wisconsin Union Theater Box Office, Memorial
Union, 800 Langdon Street, Madison, WI 53706-1495. The phone number

I work on campus and play in the Madison Municipal Band and a small
orchestra that visits retirement centers. Our band traveled to Rome
this summer and while there, had the opportunity to play twice in the
Vatican for the Pope. It was a great time.
