Unfortunately, no score is published for the wonderful clarinet
quintet by Robert Fuchs. During the time I was playing the piece, I tried
desperately to track down a score. It ended after a lengthy search by the
president of Ebel Music in Iowa City. He finally was able to contact the
publishers, but alas, no score. As you probably already know, the piece is
worth doing anyway. By the way, I have a translation of the
excellent program notes that fill the entire back cover in German. If you
or anyone want them, let me know.
