In case any Klarineter's interested, I thought I'd mention that my
quintet, City Winds (from San Francisco), is doing some new pieces in
Boston, N. Dartmouth, and Rhode Island (as well as a million kiddie
shows). Boston: Sept 21, 8:00pm, St. Mary's Church (Boston College).
Quintets by Manly Romero, Chen Yi, William Sussman, and a Clarinet solo
by Phil Collins (not the rock star). Free
N. Dartmouth: Sept 21, 12:30pm, U Mass, College of Performing Arts.
Quintets by above plus John Steinmetz, and minus the Phil Collins piece
(not a piece to do twice in one day). Providence: Sept 20, 1:00, Rhode
Island College, Roberts Hall, same program as N. Dartmouth.
