I use the GIII reeds, and have noticed that the reeds are labelled on
the back with a letter as well as a number. I've gotten A,B,G & C. I
wonder if that is the marking that you're looking for? I don't know
which is which, and I'd never heard of this different strength business
before, but I know that I had some boxes that were all of one letter,
and now I've found one or two that have mixed letters? Maybe it's just
a machine number? I don't know if I'd like it too much having different
strengths in a box. I adjust the reeds anyways, so I prefer them to be
a bit stronger so I have more to work with.
