Tim... I'm sorry about the delay in getting back to you, but I did
get the information. I hope I wasn't misleading... I thought the
solo was longer than it is, but it is about 6-8 bars, I think. The
piece is "Variants on a Mediaeval Tune" by Norman Dello Joio.

Just another note about the alto clarinet: the entire purpose for
the alto clarinet is color... the English Horn isn't much stronger,
but it's still important...
