I'm glad you asked.... Kenneth Grant, principal in Rochester, is the
Professor of Clarinet at Eastman. He was principal in Columbus, Ohio
for about 14 years (right out of Eastman). He'll be doing a recital
at Mount Union College on Monday, September 18th at 8pm in Presser
Recital Hall. Program includes the much "talked" about Osborne
Rhapsody, Poulenc Sonata, Poulenc Duo Sonata (I'll be playing the A
part), Weber Grand Duo Concertante, and Mendelssohn Concertpiece No.
2. Anyone in NE Ohio interested, admission is free.

PS Ken taught previously at Capital University, where I studied
w/him for 2 years -- and, no he wasn't the one who told me about
Bonade and the intentional wrong notes!
