This summer a friend of mine had a book of excerpts compiled by the late
Peter Hadcock. My understanding is that this book was given to my friend
by a student at Eastman and it isn't readily available. The first excerpt
was Beethoven 8. This and all of the excerpts listed had an extensive
discussion about suggestions he would make, etc. It seemed to be even
more extensive than his e-flat clarinet excerpt book, with more discussion.
It looked like the average bookstore compilation, with a spiral bind and
cardstock cover, but it seemed invaluable. . .

Does anyone know about this book? Are there more in the series? Are
they available and from whom?
