No, I'm not Clark Fobes. I do have another interesting instrument
question however... A local band director has in his possession and
asked me about a Moennig Brothers Artistic Model Silver Tone bass
clarinet. I have never seen such an animal and was wondering if
anyone (Clark or Dan, perhaps) has any idea what the history, age,
value (it seems to be in pretty good shape) might be. The serial
number is 19216 and the instrument is apparently for sale on
consignment at a music store in Canton, Ohio. That's all --
anticipating some good info....
