I see that the Los Angeles New Music Group under Esa-Pekka Salonen is
programming a clarinet concerto on a performance in New York City in March.
The piece is Clarinet Concerto "Carpe diem!" by Jouni Kaipainen. The
soloist is Lorin Levee. Does anyone know this piece? Will it premiere in
Los Angeles this year, or is it a repertoire piece for someone? MG
