Heinrich Sutermeister died earlier this year - or possibly last year. He became
known in German-speaking countries mainly for his television operas. There are
various works for clarinet listed in the musicography of Thurston's "Clarinet
Technique" (O.U.P.), if I remember rightly - I'm at work, so I don't have it
here. There are none of his works in our city library, and I've never seen any
in a music shop, though presumably some can be obtained from Germany or
Switzerland.
