For what it's worth, the Pomarico G.G. mouthpiece was designed for, and
named after Ephriam Gigi, an erstwhile New York freelancer and now
conductor of the Panama Symphony Orchestra (and formerly conductor of the
Vermont Symphony and Dartmouth College Symphony). As far as I know,
Pomarico is still in business and producing them. Check with Weiner Music
in New York. I think they still carry it in their catalogue.
