Actually SPAM is not an acronym (that would be S.P.A.M.). This is usually
a long topic unrelated to the topics covered on a given list, or enjoyed
by most members of a given list. Our recent example was someone from New
Mexico sent a 35K, or so message about blue-prints for atomic
warheads to most of the music lists. I'm on several, so I saw that
message about 5 times.
