Khaliela posted a message on the world music newsgroup asking if the alto
clarinet was an obsolete instrument. I replied, saying that to the best
of my knowledge, it wasn't - it's still being manufactured, and still
used in bands and clarinet choirs.

her subscription info for KLARINET? Thanks!

Tim, if the alto clarinet is still used in bands why can't I find any
one to teach me? My universtiy has even refused to allow me in any
ensemble, I can't even auddition. Is this only an Idaho thing?
