Subj: Possible Dumb Question About "A" Clarinets

Is the length of the barrel the only difference between an "A" and a Bb
Clarinet? A friend was playing her A clarinet and while I didn't have a
Bb clarinet to compare it to, it appeared that the only difference that
I could see and compare from memory was in the length of the barrel.
The fingering felt the same to me as did the feel of the instrument. If
this is so where could I get barrels that would match my clarinet.
