I am working on an article for the Clarinet Magazine about the late
Russell S. Howland. Eiji Maruko, professor of clarinet at Fresno City
College is co-ordinating the project and asked me to make a posting on
the Klarinet list.

If any of you out there knew Mr. Howland and have any interesting or
humorous anecdotes about him please send them via e-mail to me. We hope
to have the article submitted by late November.
