Try some of the Baroque music for violin, flute, or oboe solo. Most of
it lies in the clarinet range and works very nicely in the church
setting. You might also look at the Folk Song Suite by Vaughn-Williams.
I must admit that, although the transpositions of the Baroque stuff is
not too difficult, I cheat and play it on a C.
