Sorry to be unclear the first time!

I am eager to know what people do when they audition for a concerto
competition if the work is something like the Copland Concerto. How do
competitions view the clarinetist who uses music during the audition?
Since I am seriously considering doing some competitions with the
Copland, I would like to know the bad and the good behind playing
memorized/with music.
