Nancy,
Please peruse the archives. The subject of arrangements has come up and
been exhaustively discussed. As for the Kammen Books, books 2-8 are ALL
Yiddish Theater tunes. That means songs with lyrics, not dance numbers.
One or two have been republished but they are of limited value because
they are not instrumentals. Besides, who sings those old Yiddish Theater
chestnuts now? Good luck.
