Steve: I noticed from your posting that you do gold and silver plating
on clarinets? if so maybe you could answer a couple of haunting
questions i have.

1. I have been looking at a beautiful new Selmer with a natural wood
grain and gold palted keys. i am afraid i would be dissapointed in a
couple of years, how durable is gold plating, wont it rub off with use?

2. I play on a calrinet with silver keys, im not sure if it is plated
or solid, but the question is they tarnish badly. Even after using a
silver cloth they tarnish rather quickly. Any suggestions on keeping
them clean? The horn seems to play better with out the tarnish,
Probally because my fingers slide better and do not stick.

Thank You
