In response to Lucy's question, so far as I know all manufacturers publish
spec sheets on their mouthpieces. I've seen (have) them for Selmer and
Vandoren, assume others would have also. They usually take the form of
a grid on which the facing is shown along the top, the aperture along the
side, and the various models in each of the cells. Now if a manufacturer
only makes 3 models, its easier. The problem is that a lot of retail
outlets simply don't stock the sheets or in some cases even know they exist!

Vandoren is the only mfg that I know of that includes the spec sheet in all
of there (unopened) mp boxes.
