Victor Neves <Victor.Neves@-----.US> defends the atomic bomb drops
in response to somebody dissing an advertisement for bomb blueprints.

Like you, Victor, I fully agree that dropping the bomb was the thing
to do at the time. However, I don't wish to be sent an advertisement
for somebody selling pictures of the bomb on a mailing list devoted to
information about the clarinet.

BTW, is it just this list, or are many mailing lists getting
increasingly inundated with irrelevant postings on nuclear testing,
bomb blueprints, etc? The R/I ratio (relevance/irrelevance) of
another list I'm on seems to be on the decrease as well. Maybe we
should require all list postings to contain the word "clarinet"
somewhere in their header or body.

To add some morsel of relevance, Abby, I'd be careful if I were you
drinking hot coffee through a straw, even a little one. It's way easy
to get more than you expected in one mouthful!

Gary
