Yes, I know that Thu, 4 May 1995, was *three months ago*, but I've had a
backlog of things to catch up on. Anyway, I can't recall seeing a
suitable reply about a "live performance" -- although there were replies
about *recordings* of live performances.

So if Jennifer Glover is still looking for a live performance, she should
know that the National Symphony Orchestra will perform all nine of
Beethoven's symphonies during the 1995-96 season. The NSO performances of
the Ninth, with its new music director Leonard Slatkin, will be at 8:30 PM
on Thursday March 21, 1996, and Saturday, March 23, 1996, at the Kennedy
Center in Washington, DC.
