Daniel,
The best person I ever used was Micheal Kontaxes in New York, but
now he's out of the repair business (didn't like dealing with all those
prima donna clarinetists who didn't know enough to just shut up and let
him do his work). I've also gotten excellent work done by Murray Sneider
in New York (did a bang-up job reboring my old A Clarinet and some
masterful overhauls). Right now I am very happy with Roger Young in
Annapolis, MD. He is a true craftsman who even makes his own tools,
screws (Better metal than Buffet and selmer use!), etc. I highly recommend
him to all professionals. He can be reached at 800-690-8126, 301-261-4484
or 410-269-6647. His address is POB 279, Edgewater, MD 21037 but he
lives on Wilmer Way, if that's a help to anyone. Hope this was the kind
of info you want.
