TO: Lou Polcari and others interested in the subject:

David Campbell, British clarinetist, recently gave a wonderful recital
at the 1995 ICA ClarinetFest in Tempe. Here are a few more pieces that
you might consider for such a recital:

"Sea/Air" by Anthony Powers (written for David Campbell, publisher
unknown), a dramatic, technically challenging work!;

"Orbits" for solo clarinet in 12 short movements by Charles Camilleri;

"Sonatina" by Joseph Horovitz (Austrian-born English conductor, teacher,
and composer).

David also performed the Malcolm Arnold "Sonatina" and the wonderful but
difficult "Sonata" by Sir Arnold Bax.

Other works known to me by Horovitz and Camilleri are:

"Two Majorcan Pieces" for clarinet & piano - Horovitz (published by
Belwin/Mills; and,

"Divertimento No. 2" for clarinet & piano (published by
Fairfield/Novello.

Best wishes!
