Hi Clark, Inresponse to info that would further refine your Selmer
Bass clarinet history, I have a borrowed Selmer that is a "period 2"
model. It is serial number B6185. It was purchased new in May 1983
by a friend of mine. He went to Selmer to select it and was told
that the 4 on hand were the only 4 currently in the U.S. It is in
excellent condition and he absolutely will not sell it but he has lent
it to me for an indefinite period. Please respond to this with your
email address as I would like to discuss some business with you on
repairs and I don't want to tie up peoples disc space with
