Lou,

The following listing is from memory, since I'm posting this
message away from my home base, where my music library and recordings
are located.

Richard Walthew: Trio in C for Clarinet, Violin, and Piano
(Boosey and Hawkes). Walthew was a turn-of-the-century British composer
who was popular and highly thought of in his time.

Cipriani Potter: I'm not sure of the dates for this composer, who
wrote several chamber works for clarinet, although I believe the period
to be early 20th century. I'll check tonight when I get home.

Arthur Somervell: Quintet for Clarinet and Strings. This is early
20th-century stuff and is recorded by Thea King, I believe.

Gordon Jacob: This composer produced a treasure of chamber works
using the clarinet. Some of them are as follows:

Quintet for Clarinet and Strings, recorded by Thea King. The
composition is one of the best of its kind for this combination of
instruments.
Trio for Clarinet, Viola, and Piano. I've performed this one and
regard it highly.
Trio for Oboe, Clarinet, and Bassoon (published in 1993). I read
this composition earlier this month at a workshop and found it to be of
the same high quality as his other chamber works.
Four Seasonal Songs for Clarinet, Soprano Voice, and Piano. Very
likely the last piece Jacob composed (he was 88 at the time), it is also
one of his best. I have performed this work three times this year --
that's how much I liked it.
Three Songs for Clarinet and Soprano Voice (ca. 1933).
Divertimento (Wind Octet).
Sextet for Wind Quintet and Piano.
Wind Quintet.

Malcolm Arnold: His "Three Shanties for Wind Quintet" is one his
best known chamber works. He's also written for piano and clarinet.

I hope this has been of some help.
