This seems like a rather mundane topic, but since there hasn't been much
traffic of late, thought I'd ask:

Any recommendations for cleaning the OUTSIDE of a clarinet to get rid of
sticky grease that gets on the hands and then clarinet after greasing the
tenon corks?

Also, what method do you use to apply grease to cork? I find that I need to
rub it into the cork by hand to get it to spread evenly, but this gets it
on my hands which gets it on the keywork...
